Without the support of our city, local businesses, and fans, Scotiabank Centre would not be the loud, proud, vibrant venue that we are today. Thank you to our fans for your amazing #Scotiable pride!

Fall Season

Fall is always an exciting time at Scotiabank Centre with the kick-off of our sports season. But after taking a few weeks off to make important facility upgrades, the excitement for our first event in September was felt beyond the walls of Scotiabank Centre.

“We knew our fans were excited to get back to Scotiabank Centre, and we were thrilled to have an amazing lineup of events to welcome them back to,” said Carrie Cussons, president and CEO. “Unveiling our new HD video scoreboard was the icing on the cake, and we had Halifax on their toes waiting for the big reveal.”

The Halifax Mooseheads home opener unveiled the new HD video scoreboard, and it did not disappoint.

Our fans shared photos and videos, stories and news about our upgraded, in-venue experience and their excitement for the upcoming events season. Sharing this evening with our partners and community influencers gave us a chance to say thank you and share our excitement about the new, enhanced experience at Scotiabank Centre.

Scotiabank Centre is alive with excitement, bringing an unparalleled buzz to Halifax’s downtown core on event nights. Our neighbours are a major part of our guests’ overall experience – playing host to pre- and post-event activities. Each year in December, our team visits surrounding restaurants and businesses carrying fresh baked cookies and a schedule of our upcoming event lineup to show our appreciation. Sharing this information allows our neighbouring businesses to plan their staffing needs, develop marketing initiatives, and tailor their specials around our events.

Together, we are #Scotiable.

That's The Ticket

Our fans are the heartbeat of Scotiabank Centre and make it alive with excitement. As a thank you for their continued support, we launched our first-ever ticket giveaway contest - That’s The Ticket!  This contest provides a lucky winner and a guest with the ultimate Scotiabank Centre fan experience. The prize includes two tickets to a selected event, plus extras like one night for two at a hotel in downtown Halifax, a dinner for two at a local restaurant, parking passes, and more!

To enter the contest, fans are asked to answer a few questions online to find out how #Scotiable they are. This was the inaugural year, and we received over 12,000 entrants and created lasting memories for ten lucky winners and their guests.
